Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy:

Refund requests must be made in writing or via email..

If the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her participation to another person or event, then the following refund arrangements apply.

Before 10 days of the conference: Eligible for full payment Refund

Within 3 days of Conference: Eligible for 50% of payment Refund

Within 1 day of Conference: Eligible for 20% of payment Refund

After Conference: Not eligible for Refund.


CANADA VISA : PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Most visitors need an Electronic Travel Authorization or a visa to travel to Canada. Some people December only need their valid passport.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON VISAS AND ENTRY INTO CANADA

After you have registered for the conference, if you need to apply for a visa please request:

1) Official letter of recognition of ITFBIS 2024 provided by the Canada Border Services Agency to us for dispatch to registered delegates.

2) A letter of invitation to attend the ITFBIS 2024 containing The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada Special Event Code.

Attendance at a conference such as ITFBIS 2024 is considered to be a cross-border business activity and therefore you will be considered a business visitor.

International delegates attending the ITFBIS 2024 who require a visa to enter Canada will be issued a Business Visitor Visa by the Canada High Commission in their home country.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) International Events and Convention Services Program (IECSP) has officially recognised the ITFBIS 2024.

To facilitate Canadian border procedures it is recommended that participants present a copy of the official letter of recognition provided by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) - International Events and Convention Services Program (IECSP) to a CBSA Border Services Officer upon their arrival to Canada.

The ITFBIS 2024 has been registered with The Special Events Unit of Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

If you require a visa we strongly advise that after registering for the ITFBIS 2024 you request a "letter of invitation" to the Conference. The letter of invitation will contain The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada' Special Event Code for the event. The "letter of invitation" will facilitate your entry into Canada and the processing of visa applications. The Special Events Unit of Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the Canadian Border Services Agency will have access to a copy of the format of the letter of invitation. The "letter of invitation" will also facilitate the processing of visa applications.

Please note that following the The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada policy, an invitation letter as well as the letter of recognition will only be issued to registered delegates who have confirmed their place in the conference, by paying the registration fee.

Submission of Visa Applications:

Canada does not have a visa office in every country so it is important that delegates visit thewebsite of the visa office responsible for processing their visa applications. Information is available on the IRCC website on how to submit a visa application and the documentation required.

Delegates are encouraged to submit their visa applications well in advance of the date of the event.

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)

Visa-exempt foreign nationals are expected to have an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to fly to or transit through Canada. Exceptions include U.S. citizens, and travellers with a valid Canadian visa.

NEW - Biometrics (Global Expansion)

Depending on your nationality, you December be required to give your biometrics when you apply for the Canada visa.

Starting December 31, 2018 the biometric requirement became mandatory for nationals of Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Starting December 31, 2018 the biometric requirement became mandatory for nationals of Asia, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
